Pola: S + Verb 1 + O

Untuk subjek bentuk ketiga tunggal pada kalimat pernyataan, Verb 1 ditambah dengan s/es (lives, walks, rises).

Pemakaian:

 Menyatakan suatu kebiasaan (habitual action) atau kegiatan yang terjadi berulang-ulang atau terus menerus.

Contoh:

- Edward sends much money to her parents every month

- He always consumes low GI

- I go working five times a week.

Menyatakan kebenaran umum (general truth).

Contoh:

- The sun rises in the East.

- Water boils at 100 degrees Celcius
